The Beauty of Notebooks

Hi All,
How's it going?

One of the things I have always had from when I was in school was either a notebooks or a diary especially over the last few years of traveling or having the notes app on my phone to write down anything.

As I have started blogging I realized how important it is to write anything that's on my mind down. I have been doing this since high school where I would write my stories on the back of my notebooks that were meant for school work. More like during math's or religion class.

I would always write when the teacher was talking, it work a lot of the time but there were moments when I go caught. My friends knew I like to write but I only told about 3 people about the stories I was writing. I didn't like people knowing about it.

I guessed I enjoyed it being my own thing to do without others knowing.

Over time I would buy notebooks to write in, as my personal or travel diary like last year when I went away to Europe  on a contiki tour. I wrote everyday on the bus because I didn't want to forget anything about this trip and have it as a memory book to look back on.
That's the one thing I love about notebooks is that there always there to have when you want to write what your feeling or just get it off you chest. I'm getting back to my diary writing whether it's once a week or every two weeks.

I recently bought these two notebooks from Typo. I love how creative they get with the notebooks I also have another one I use for my diary.
What notebooks do you like?
Leave me a comment below! Ill love to hear from you!

Foodie Friday: White Chocolate & Cinnamon Cookies

Hi All,
How's it going?

If you tell I'm pretty good at baking cookies! I made these white chocolate and cinnamon cookies once for  a art and craft group and they were a hit. Try them out!

Ingredients:
1 egg
1&3/4 cup of self raising flour, sifted.
3/4 cup brown sugar
125g butter
1 packet of 250g of white chocolate chips
2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Method:
Preheat oven to 160c.
1. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl. I prefer to melt the butter for a quick 20-30 seconds on high as it would make creaming quicker.
2. Then I add in the egg and mix it together.
3. Shift flour and cinnamon into the bowl and mixed together.
4. Then add in the chocolate chips and mixed it all together. I prefer to mix it fast to get a good ball of dough.
5. Then using two spoons or your hands roll the dough into small balls and placed on a tray. Then flatten the balls gently.
6. Put into the oven for 10-15 minutes. When they are ready take them out and let them cool for a few minutes and then eat!

Let me know what you think!

Those rainy days!

Hi all,
how's it going?
As I write this post there is a storm happening outside my bedroom window and it's not looking to stop anytime soon. The good thing to come out of this is that you can stay indoors all day and have a relaxing day, which to be honest is my favourite kind of day!
The things I love to do are:
Stay in bed:
Yes, if you love sleeping in as much as I do you would agree staying in bed is the best part. Also not having to go up and be somewhere. It's also an excuse to be in your pajamas all day!

Wear track pants all day:
Any excuse to wear my track pants and jumpers yes I am in! When I'm in them I'm so comfortable and feel relaxed, something about a nice jumper makes me feel warm.

Drinking a hot drink:
I love coffee but recently I have been getting into green tea recently and I prefer green tea more when it gets cold but I still have my coffee in the morning.

Cook a hot breakfast:
I love cooking a hot breakfast on the weekend or during a day off I might have. I like to cook scramble eggs on toast with avocado, sometimes I add bacon.

Bake:
Beside cooking I enjoy baking more on a rainy  and I like the idea of fresh out of the oven baked good with a cup of tea or coffee.

As you can tell I like doing a few things on a rainy day so,
what do you guys love to do on a rainy day?

Leave me a comment I'll would love to hear from you!
